AJR is a pop band from New York consisting of three brothers: Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The band writes, produces, and mixes their material in the living room of their apartment in New York City. Their musical style has been described as “eclectic,” combining elements of pop, doo-wop, electronic, and dubstep.
In 2020, their single “Bang” reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is their biggest single yet. Other songs that AJR is known for are Way Less Sad, Burn the House Down, and Weak.
In 2020, AJR had two tours cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic. The second leg of the Neotheater World Tour was cancelled and a co-headlining tour with Charli XCX titled “Everything Everywhere Tour” was also scrapped.
The group returned with the OK Orchestra tour in 2023 and The Maybe Man in 2024.
