Tame Impala Profile
Tame Impala is an Australian rock band conceived by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. The band began as a home-recording project for Parker, who writes, records, performs, and produces the music.
As a touring act, Parker (guitar, vocals) plays alongside Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesiser) and some members of Australian psychedelic rock band Pond – Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals, guitar), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals), and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals).
Tame Impala has released three studio albums with 2015's "Currents" being their most recent. Parker has announced plans for a new album to be released in 2019 and has booked a bunch of festival tour dates throughout the year which would support those plans.
Some of Tame Impala's biggest songs include "The Less I Know The Better", "Elephant", and "Let it Happen".
