DMX Profile
DMX is a rapper from New York City. Known for his high energy and barking dog adlibs, he had incredible commercial success from 1998 to 2001. In that time, he released four studio albums.
His debut, "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" was critically acclaimed and had the singles "Get at me Dog" and "Ruff Ryders Anthem". The Ruff Ryders were a rap group and record label led by DMX that also contained Swiss Beats, Eve, Styles P, Sheek Louch, and more.
Other songs that DMX is known for included "Slippin", "What's My Name?", and "Party Up".
After 2001, DMX fell into a ton of legal trouble and his popularity over the years faded. He tried to make comebacks in 2005, 2012, and 2016 but all were relative failures.
