Pearl Jam is a classic rock band from Seattle, Washington who has sold over 32 million records in the United States. The group has released 10 studio albums since 1991 and has kept the same lineup since 1999.
Pearl Jam’s first album, Ten, was a long term success. It is hailed as the start of the alternative rock grunge movement, preceding Nirvana. The album had the singles Jeremy, Alive, and Even Flow.
While never matching the commercial success of Ten, Pearl Jam had many other successful singles. They include I Got Id, Spin the Black Circle, Given to Fly, Last Kiss, I Am Mine, and World Wide Suicide.
The band hasn’t toured together since 2016. They had announced plans to go on tour in 2020 before the Coronavirus pandemic hit. The group returned in 2022 to announce new tour dates.
