Angel Stadium Parking Summary
Angel Stadium has a large number of parking spaces available in its official lots, providing ample space for fans attending games. Parking facilities mainly consist of surface lots, which can make finding a spot relatively easier. Special accommodations, such as reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities and other specific needs, are available and well-managed.
Parking prices at Angel Stadium are generally more affordable compared to stadiums in larger cities, but costs can still add up. Public transportation options are available, such as the Metrolink and Amtrak trains, but they might not be as extensive or convenient as in some other metropolitan areas.
Traffic congestion around the stadium can be an issue, particularly during peak times and on game days.

Official Angel Stadium Parking Options
While visiting Angel Stadium, several official parking options are available. Knowing your options beforehand can save you time and effort, ensuring you make the most of your visit.
Surrounding Angel Stadium is a giant single parking lot that wraps around the stadium. Three entrances to the parking lot are denoted by the three streets that go into the lot: Douglass Road (east), Orangewood Avenue (south), and State College Boulevard (west).
There is ample parking in the official stadium lot, and most fans use this area. General parking in the official Angel Stadium parking lot costs $20 per game.
Home Plate Gate Parking
The home plate gate is on the southwest side of the parking lot and is the closest entrance to the home plate when you go into Angels Stadium. Arrive early and look for a spot in this area If that is where you want to be for the first pitch.
A large baseball helmet is outside the home plate gate, so look for that!
Premier Parking
If you want to park extra near the stadium, you can spend on special preferred parking.
Once you enter the parking lot area, follow the signs to the preferred parking spaces closest to the arena. A preferred parking space costs $30 per game.
Oversized Vehicle Parking
If you have an oversized vehicle that is more than 20 feet in length, there is dedicated parking for you around the stadium. Enter the parking lot from Orangewood avenue on the south side and follow the signs for oversized parking.
Season Ticket Holders
If you are a season ticket holder or got a parking pass from one, use the Express Entry Lane on Orangewood avenue (south side). This will take you to the dedicated season ticket holders’ parking lot.
Ticket holders get an express entrance before the game and an easy exit after.
Angel Stadium Handicap Parking
Handicap Parking is available in all official Angel Stadium parking lots. Accessible parking spaces are located near the entrances and elevators for added convenience. A valid, state-issued disabled license plate or parking placard is required to utilize these spots.
When to Arrive
Arriving early is essential to beat the crowds and secure a great parking spot. The Angel Stadium parking lots open 2.5 hours before the game begins, giving you ample time to find a spot and enjoy the pre-game atmosphere.
Parking lots close one hour after each game ends.
Angel Stadium Tailgating Policies
Tailgating is a beloved tradition at many major stadiums and sporting events, and Angel Stadium is no exception. Tailgating is permitted in designated areas of the parking lots. However, there are some rules to follow:
- Tailgating must take place within the confines of your parking space.
- Open flames and deep fryers are prohibited.
- Consumption of alcohol is not technically allowed, but you will not get a ticket if you place it into a generic cup.
- No on-site catering trucks are allowed.
Tailgating is allowed in the general parking areas of the main parking lot. The Big A sign is a popular spot for tailgating before game time.
If you want to tailgate at a nearby restaurant bar, my favorite spot is Noble Ale Works right across the street.
Unofficial Parking Lots Near Angel Stadium
If you’re looking for alternative parking options, a few unofficial parking lots are near the stadium.
Private Parking Lots
Several private parking lots are located near Angel Stadium. These lots may be operated by businesses or individuals and often charge parking fees. Be sure to check the lot’s hours of operation and any rules or restrictions before parking.
Use the SpotHero widget below to find specific Los Angeles Angels parking for the next game or a parking space for the next concert at the stadium.
Some of my favorite third-party parking spots are:
2390 Orangewood Avenue Lot – Located right outside the official parking, this parking lot is for the Axis Office Campus building.
1855 S Harbor Boulevard (Sheraton Hotel) – If you don’t mind walking a little bit, the Sheraton Hotel on South Harbor Boulevard has gameday parking. The parking lot is about one mile away from the stadium, but you will avoid large crowds and a traffic jam after the game is over.
If you go for an unofficial parking garage, you get a roof over your head. This is a nice perk for going third-party for parking.
Street Parking
Street parking is available in some areas around Angel Stadium but is limited. If you choose to park on the street, be sure to obey all posted parking signs and regulations to avoid fines or towing.
