Where is the Cosmopolitan on the Las Vegas Strip?

The Cosmopolitan is in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. It opened in 2010 in the “city center” of Vegas, just south of the Bellagio hotel and beside the Aria.

The Cosmopolitan contains two main resort towers: the Chelsea and the Boulevard.

In total, there are over 3,000 rooms in the Cosmopolitan. The style of the interior is modern contemporary. It is one of the more higher class properties on the Vegas Strip.

Who owns the Cosmopolitan Hotel?

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is owned and operated by The Blackstone Group. It is their only ownership on the strip and rumors have been swirling since early 2019 that the hotel is for sale.

During construction, much of the hotel was due to be luxury condos. When they were converted to hotel rooms, the footprint was already set. This means that the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas has some of the largest standard rooms on the strip.

The footprint of the hotel is also smaller than other resorts on the Strip, making it generally easier to get around the complex. A lot of Cosmopolitan amenities are on the second, third, and fourth floor.

When did the Cosmo open?

The Cosmopolitan opened its doors on December 15th, 2010.

Since its opening, the hotel has had partnerships with the Marriott and the Ritz Carlton, and both rewards users can redeem value here.

How Do You Get Cheap Hotel Rooms at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas?

The official website for the Cosmopolitan guarantees that you will get the cheapest rates. If you find a rate on the internet cheaper than the official site, they will match it for you without any questions asked.

Through the official website, you can also cancel your reservation up until the very last minute. Other sites restrict you in certain areas.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Resort Map

Below is the full Cosmopolitan resort map for levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 14 (the Sahara spa). It will help you visualize how the resort is laid out.

Level 1

The first level is what most guests will see when they come in off the street. Past hotel registration is the Cosmopolitan casino. A few bars and restaurants are in the area:

Level 2

The second floor has most of the main restaurants in the Cosmopolitan:

The Milk Bar in particle is something we’ve featured before and highly recommend.

There is also some high end shopping on this level and hotel conference space up here. An entrance and exit to Las Vegas Boulevard exists here. This brings lots of foot traffic from the strip to these shopping and food areas.

Level 3

Level 3 is where the rest of the conference space is. More premium restaurants are below the Beoulevard tower:

Level 4

The fourth floor of the Cosmopolitan is where the main Boulevard pool is overlooking the Vegas strip. A few bars and the Overlook Grill surround the pool as well.

Level 14

High up on the 14th floor of the hotel is The Chelsea Pool and Sahara Spa. The pool is a unique experience high above the Vegas skyline and is a favorite for guests staying at the hotel.

Cosmopolitan Room Types

The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas has many kinds of rooms you can purchase.

From basic to first class luxury, there is a hotel room type for everyone. Rooms at the Cosmopolitan range from 1 to 6 people in a single room.

Let’s have a look at what room types there are.

Basic Rooms

The hotel has many basic hotel rooms. Your choices are as follows.

City Room

The City room is the most basic room inside of The Cosmopolitan. It has either one or two beds and a marble bathroom.

City Studio

The City Studio room is like the regular City room, but with a living space added.

Terrace Studio

The Terrace studio room is the most premium basic hotel room in the hotel. It contains the following additional features:

• A larger bathroom with both shower and bubble tub
• Full seating area living room
• Glass door to a private terrace overlooking Las Vegas

There is also a Terrace Studio Fountain View upgrade which puts your private terrace overlooking the Bellagio fountains and Strip.

Terrace One Bedroom

The Terrace One Bedroom is very similar to the Terrace Studio. A sliding door separates the bed from the rest of the suite. As well, the living area is a bit bigger.

Inside of the bedroom is a Japanese soaking tub.

There is also a Terrace One Bedroom Fountain View which faces the Bellagio fountains and strip.

Terrace Studio Two Queen Beds

Very similar to the Terrace Studio room, this option has two queen sized beds and a smaller seating area verses the single king option.

There is a Terrace Studio Two Queen Beds Fountain View room that overlooks the strip as well.

Suites

For even more amenities and special features, there are a ton of suite options to book.

The Cosmopolitan was originally built to have full for-sale condos in it. When those plans changed, it was too late to change the floor plans. Therefore, there are both a high number of suites in the hotel and more space than usual suites at other Vegas hotels.

Executive Suite

The initial suite is still one of the best options on the strip. It contains the following features:

• Two bathrooms: A full double vanity with soaker tub and a separate powder room
• Living area with six person conference table
• One bedroom with king bed

Terrace Suite

This 910 square foot option is pure luxury. Some of the amenities you get are:

• Larger living area and drinking nook
• Two bathrooms including a private master bath with shower and soaker tub
• 160sq ft terrace

Wraparound Terrace Suite

Over 1200 square feet of space and a 410 square foot terrace, this wraparound suite is Vegas luxury at the Cosmopolitan.

Features of the Wraparound Terrace suite are:

• Two sided terrace with panoramic views of the Vegas strip
• Wet bar with sub-zero wine chiller
• Seating area and dining area
• Two bathrooms
• Master bedroom with king bed and full ensuite

A Wraparound Terrace Fountain View suite option exists as well for an even better view.

Two Bedroom City Suite

If you need two bedrooms, the City Suite at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is your first option. The City Suite has over 1600 square feet of luxury space to stay in. Other features include:

• Two luxurious bathrooms
• Master bedroom with king bed and secondary bedroom with two queen beds
• Seating area and powder room

Lanai Suite

The theme of the Lanai suite is full beach house. These suites are two stories with the master bedroom up top. The main floor boasts a seating area, bar, and full bathroom.

The major perk of the Lanai suite is the outdoor open air private hot tub. As well, you’ll have direct access to the Chelsea pool right from your suite.

Reception Suite

The Reception Suite is a unique space for hosting parties at the Cosmopolitan.

This suite features an extensive living and dining room area. There is also a massive wine cooler included. Instead of an official bedroom in this suite, there is a Murphy bed on the wall. It can be pulled down to sleep in.

Bungalow

The Bungalow is one of two high-tier premium suites at the Cosmopolitan. With over 1675 square feet of space, plus a private terrace and outdoor patio, the Bungalow is awesome.

Its features include:

• Media lounge on the first floor
• Master bedroom on the second floor with bathroom, lounge area, and vanity
• Third floor outdoor terrace with kitchenette, bar, and private outdoor plunge pool

The Chelsea Penthouse

The most luxurious place on the property, the Chelsea Penthouse is the definition of Vegas luxury. These suites range from 2,400 up to 3,600 square feet.

Eggs are not just for breakfast at this signature Cosmopolitan restaurant! Featuring all day meals with eggs in them, here are some of Eggslut’s top meals:

1. Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwhich – a classic meal made with hardwood smoke bacon, over medium egg, chipotle ketchup, and a warm brioche bun.
2. The Slut – Egg on top of smooth potato puree and cooked in a glass jar.
3. Gaucho Sandwich – Wagyu tri-tip steak, chimichurri, and red onions topped with an over-medium egg in a warm brioche bun.

Rose. Rabbit. Lie.

RRL is a modern supper show that shows live music and entertainment alongside your food. It is inspired by social clubs of the past, where familiar dishes are twisted and cocktails have a distinct flair. Some signature dishes include:

1. Caviar Tacos – Caviar inside of a Yukon gold potato shell and hamachi.
2. Beef Wellington – Prime Tenderloin seared foie gras, creamed spinach, and black truffle.
3. Cookie Jar – A unique dessert with petite cookies and treats.

China Poblano

China Poblano is the Cosmopolitan combines flavors of Mexico and China. Food here is a mix of noodles and tacos in a really unique style. Featured plates include:

1. Chef’s Experience – A mix of unique flavors from Mexico and China.
2. Har Gow – Contonese dim sum with dumplings filled with pork belly, shrimp, and broth.
3. Carnitas – Soft corn tortillas and braised pork topped with salsa and crispy chicharrones.

Jaleo

Jaleo is a top spot for Spanish cuisines and tapas. Some signature dishes include:

1. Paella – Cooked over a wood-burning grill and perfectly delicious.
2. Jamón ibérico de bellota – Cured meat including acorn-fed pork.

Best Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Buffet

Wicked Spoon

The Wicked Spoon is the Cosmopolitan’s flagship buffet restaurant and one of the best buffet’s in Vegas. Premium is the one word to describe The Wicket Spoon. There are individual stations for many cultural foods including:

1. Americana
2. Asian
3. Italian
4. Seafood
5. Dessert

A carving station in the restaurant has fresh pork loin, ham, roasted chicken, prime rib, and lamb.

For a good Las Vegas happy hour deal at the Wicked Spoon, 4-7pm each day offers $5 drink specials.

Secret Pizza

Secret Pizza is a specialty hidden speakeasy on the third floor of the Cosmopolitan. It is not listed on the resort map and often goes unnoticed if you aren’t looking for it.

To find Secret Pizza in the Cosmopolitan, take the escalators up to the third floor. When you arrive on the third floor via the escalators, you will be facing Jaleo.

To the left of Jaleo is a narrow hallway that is easy to miss. Walk down this hallway featuring vinyl records and memorabilia and you’ll walk in to Secret Pizza.

Best Shows at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

OPIUM

OPIUM is the flagship show in the Cosmopolitan hotel. Its production is put on by the same company as the Absinthe show at Caesars Palace.

The show is set on the OPM 73, a mock spaceship transporting passengers from Uranus to Las Vegas. Like Absinthe, OPIUM has a variety of funny variety acts that juggle, sword swallow, and perform acts for the crowd.

The Chelsea

The Chelsea is a concert and entertainment venue inside of The Cosmopolitan. It features 2500 seats and hosts a variety of music, comedy, and entertainment shows each year.

The Marquee

The Marquee is a day and night club inside of the hotel.

The day club is a daily beach party with DJs often present playing music all day long. There is an infinity pool to plunge in and cabanas and private day beds for rental.

At night, The Marquee is a 60,000 club. It often books top international house DJs as residents. Past Las Vegas residences include DJ Mustard, Matoma, and DJ Ruckus.

Areas inside of The Marquee include:

Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

Boulevard is the number one pool open to guests of The Cosmopolitan. It features multiple pools, premium grounds, and music all day long.

Boulevard Pool turns into a giant ice rink each winter. Guests and visitors can go ice skating and enjoy a winter wonderland in the middle of Las Vegas.

Boulevard Pool is located on the fourth story of The Cosmopolitan, providing views of the Vegas strip below you.

Spa

The Sahara Spa at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is a premium spa and salon inspired by the dessert. It features a ton of luxury treatments and features.

Hammam

The Hammam is a ritual space that combines body detoxification and steam treatment with two soaking tubs, steam rooms, and stone loungers.

It is a premier service offering inside of The Sahara.

Sahara Suite

The suite is a minimum four-hour luxurious retreat inside of the spa. In addition to a living and entertainment area and private butler service, the Sahara suite has a private treatment area.

The area has private whirlpool tubs, a steam room, change room, vanity areas, and other private amenities.

Overall, the spa is one of the top things to do at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

Where is Whistler?

Whistler is a popular resort community two hours north of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The town is set in the shadows of Whistler and Blackcomb, two of Canada’s most famous ski hills. The gondola remains open year round for tourists and hikers to go up each mountain and do some exploring.

Whistler Olympic Plaza

When you come to Whistler, you can’t miss the Olympic Plaza. It is the center point of the town, with dozens of stores and restaurants around it. The Plaza has a full concert stage and viewing area in front of it. Set back is a large grass field.

Each summer, Whistler’s summer concert series takes place on the Olympic Plaza. Whistler’s promises a variety of genres and shows on the plaza:

Maury Young Arts Center

The Maury Young Arts Center is a performing theater in Whistler. The auditorium holds over 200 seats which are soft and rake-style. Impressively, the stage is 34 feet long and provides ample space for performances.

Maury Young is usually used for classical and theater style performances. It does have premium lighting and sound. As well, there is a 16-foot by 9 foot front and rear project screens.

Buffalo Bills at Gibbons

Buffalo Bills is a bar at Gibbons Whistler. It is a bar and event room with an old cabin vibe. It regularly has live sports to watch and some pool or darts to play.

Other Fun Things to do in Whistler

While you are in the Whistler area, there are a number of really cool things to do. Below are a number of things we recommend based on our last trip to Whistler!

Kayaking on Alta Lake

Alta Lake is home to the two biggest parks and beaches in the Whistler area: Lakeside Park and Rainbow Park. At Lakeside Park, you can rent kayaks (or canoes if you prefer).

Once you have your boat, you can tour around Alta Lake and view the gorgeous lake hours on the water. Alta Lake is also the starting point for the River of Golden Dreams. That’s a downhill journey through the river which takes a few hours to complete.

Travel Up the Whistler – Blackcomb Gondola

The Whistler and Blackcomb mountains are some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the area. But even in the summer, these mountains are an awesome ride up to the top.

Once you are at the top, you can take the peak to peak gondola from the top of one mountain to the other.

At the top of Whistler and Blackcomb are a bunch of hikes worth checking out. They range from as little as one kilometer up to ten kilometers or more. You can view different sights, scenery, rivers, lakes, and mountains in the distance.

Hike Joffre Lake

Joffre Lakes is one of the most in-demand hikes in the Whistler area. Located 45 minutes away, Joffre Lakes is actually a collection of three lakes: Lower, Middle, and Upper Lake.

Each lake at Joffre is bright blue from the glaciers that feed into the lakes. This is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

You can actually camp at the Upper Falls, the halfway point of your there-and-back journey.

Due to popularity, BC Parks actually limits the number of visitors to the park each day. You’ll want to sign on at 7am of the morning before your visit to get your free day pass.

Visit the Whistler Train Wreck

Just south of Whistler is a collection of train cars filled with graffiti on them. They are a train wreck from 1956 which were abandoned in the forest. Today, moss, trees, and natural landscape have grown around the cars. It is surreal and very cool looking.

The hike up to the train cars crosses a very cool suspension bridge. It is a relaxing two-kilometer journey up to the train cars.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can hike past the cars along the river all the way to Coast Brewing. It is a really great experience.

Have Pizza and Beer at Pizzeria Antico

Pizzeria Antico is a really awesome Neapolitan pizza place right in Whistler village. It is a really awesome place to visit and try some pizza at.

The place also features an expansive alcohol selection. You can order both beer and wine flights. Everything on the menu is local BC alcohol.

If you can get a spot on the patio, we highly recommend it.

There are lots of places worth eating at in Whistler, but Pizzeria Antico tops our list.

Visit the Britannia Mine Museum

On the way to or from Whistler, the Britannia Mine Museum is a must stop. It is an old copper mine which was active from the 1880s all the way up until the mid 1970s.

With your pass, you get access to an underground mine tour and a replica boom show. The tour features a journey into the middle of the mine. You’ll learn about the tools and techniques used to find copper in the mountain.

The boom show takes you into the real milling building. The crew shows you how rock is broken down and copper is extracted.

Other than the shows, Britannia features a number of old buildings to enter. You can also pan for gold and other gems and keep what you find.

O at the Bellagio 

Introduced in 1998, O at the Bellagio is located at Bellagio’s fountains. The show features Cirque du Soleil’s gymnastics, dancing, and acrobatics to keep the viewers entertained. The storyline is about a boy taken through a journey in a dreadful aquatic world. O at the Bellagio has comedy, diving, and circus, all packed into a single production.

The performers are real entertainers. The use the giant pool as a stage to create illusion. Visitors to Las Vegas love this show because it is all about water. There are around 80 certified scuba divers working on the production. There are also 14 underwater technicians offering oxygen to submerged performers during each performance. 

For the best Cirque du Soleil O tickets, seats in categories 1 and 2 offer the best view when you are in the theater. You may also try the Balcony for a perfect view, especially if you like somewhere a bit far from the stage. 

O at Bellagio also has a VIP package known as La Grande Expèrience. This package offers guests a pre-show reception with champagne and guided video tour. VIP guests will also get to meet the performers and enjoy gourmet treats during the show.

Michael Jackson ONE at the Mandalay Bay 

Introduced in 2013 at the Mandalay Bay, Michae Jackson ONE is a celebration of the King of Pop and his music. The theater at the Mandalary Bay has 1,805 seats and features state-of-the-art surround-sound. 

The vibrant energy of the cast of 63 performers and dancers perfectly express Michael’s spirit and artistry. This show features driving acrobatics, vivid choreographies, and aerial performance.

People love this show because of the timeless and upbeat music. As the performers and dancers recreate Micheal Jackson’s dance moves, the audience sings along to the show.

For the best Michael Jackson ONE Cirque du Soleil tickets, sections 101-103 provide the best view. You will find these positions very close to the stage. If you want to save a few bucks, sections 201-205 are your best bet.

Ka at the MGM Grand

KA at the MGM Grand is a show for the adventure-seeking and action-loving show goers. It was introduced in 2004 at the popular MGM Grand hotel and has been a staple there ever since. The venue features a fascinating backstage tour, performer meet & greet, souvenir photo, and exclusive box seating. It also features complimentary cocktails and popcorn. 

The storyline is a tale of a sister and brother who are separated during a war. In a bid to re-unite with his sister, the brother encounters some villains he must fight. The entire production takes its root from Asian culture. Notable routines in the show include bungee jumping, Wheel of Death, and martial arts choreography.

People like this show because it puts the audience in the heart of the action. Viewers are glued to this show for its 360 degree-rotating and hydraulic stage that spins. These features set the stage for vertical combat. For the best seating position, side view seats or sections 201 and 203 provide the best view.

The Beatles LOVE at The Mirage

The Beatles LOVE at The Mirage is a fun show that takes entertainment to the next level. The show celebrates The Beatles’ music legacy through their original and timeless recordings. 

The show has the option of a private backstage tour, VIP seating, commemorative photo, and choice of specialty drink. Additionally, the surround sound and panoramic visual in the venue will keep you glued to the show. 

In the show, a cast of over 60 international entertainers and performers perfectly explore the content of the songs. Their energy is channeled through urban freestyle dance, extreme sports, and aerial performance.

Mystere is the oldest Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil show and it is located at the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino. The show was introduced on Christmas Day in 1993. The venue is customized for Mystere to house every detail of the show. Mystere is the only show that isn’t at an MGM Resort property.

Mystere is filled with enchanting creatures, ethereal acrobatics, and graceful dancers. For the storyline, it is completely left for individual interpretation. However, it involves a ton of performers. You will see Jack’s beanstalk towering above the stage, a mischievous giant baby, and high-flying trapeze artists. All these are packed into one show for an unforgettable entertainment experience. 

People love this show because of the costumes and props. The costumes clearly emphasize each performer’s movements on stage. For the best seating position, section 102-104 offer the best and amazing views. If you take a spot in any of these section, you’ll feel as though you’re part of the performers.

Target is one block south of the subdivision and Walmart and Publix Grocery Store are a half mile north. There are a mix of restaurants that are walking distance to the community.

Location-wise, Storey Lake is perfect. Vacation homes closer to Disney don’t have any amenities nearby due to Disney’s ownership in land in the area. Homes further away mean you have further to navigate to and from Disney World.

Water Park

The center piece of Storey Lake is a huge water park and pool park available to everyone who stays in the community. It has a huge swimming pool, hot tub, splash pad, lazy river, and two waterslides to enjoy.

In the middle of the lazy river is a full mini-golf course. Nearby are basketball and tennis courts to enjoy.

If you feel a little more adventurous, there are kayak rentals so that you can paddle out into the middle of the lake.

The Poolside Bar & Grill has a full menu to check out and you get to eat lunch or dinner outside overlooking the pool. A few steps away is Once Upon a Cone, a full service ice cream shop!

There’s even an air-conditioned fitness center for burning off those ice cream sundaes.

Private Home

Inside of your vacation home at Storey Lake are even more amenities to enjoy.

Townhomes offer private splash pools so that you can take a swim without having to travel to the water park. If you rent a standalone home, it will have a full pool and a hot tub attached to it. Right outside of your private pool is a private covered patio area.

All homes in the community get daily garbage service which is a nice feature.

Inside of each home are full amenities: kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Top Attractions Near Storey Lake

Once you’ve settled into your luxury pool home on the beautiful Storey Lake Resort, you’ll be eager to visit some of the attractions nearby.

Themes Parks

Downtown Disney is just 3 miles from the resort. Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom are 4 miles away. Sea World and the famous International Drive are just a bit further than that.

You are very close to enjoying some good happy hour drinks near Disney World.

Shopping

Nearby Vineland Premium Outlets Shopping is a must-do for shoppers with discounts on everything from sportswear to brand name bags, fashions and shoes.

Some of the stores at the outlet include The Loft, Express, Nike, Gap, Van Heusen, Guess, and more.

Homes at Storey Lake Resort

There are three ways to stay in a vacation rental at Storey Lake.

Surrounding the water park are four-story condos that offer 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms places. These condos don’t have private pools, but they do have balconies to enjoy the outside Florida weather. They are close to the water park, which is nice.

Townhomes are 6 attached units that range from 3 to 5 bedrooms. These homes only have a splash pool with no hot tub. For families between four and six people, they offer the right amount of space.

Standalone homes range from 5 to 9 bedrooms. These homes offer up to 4,000 square feet of space. You’ll have a full pool and hot tub to enjoy. Many of these homes have games rooms as well. Some of the biggest homes sleep over 25 people under one roof.

Storey Lake Tips

Do you want to enjoy a seamless stay at the resort? Then keep the following tips in mind when planning your trip to Orlando:

1. You will be required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
2. Request that your private pool heat be turned on at least 48 hours before you arrive. This way, the pool water will be warm when you arrive.
3. Ask the rental owner whether pool toys and beach towels are included in the payment. This way, you don’t bring things that are already captured in the package.
4. Consider ordering groceries for delivery so that they arrive right when you do at Storey Lake. This way you won’t have to shop yourself through an unfamiliar grocery store.

What are Some Fun and Unique Things To Do in Las Vegas?

1. Rent a Daybed at the Pool

If you are planning on spending a full day (or more) in the pool complex at one of hotels on the Las Vegas Strip like the MGM Grand, here’s a pro tip: rent a daybed!

A daybed is located located near the best and more premium spots of each pool complex. It can hold two, four, or eight people and usually comes with a safe and an umbrella you can use for partial shade.

Most daybeds in Las Vegas also comes with personalized waitress service. You book your daybed in advance and don’t have to worry about being one of the first people down to the pool, laying on an uncomfortable pool lounge chair, or losing your spot when you want to take a dip in the lazy river.

And here’s the best part: daybeds are actually FREE.

At any MGM Resort location, daybeds only cost a food and drink minimum which usually ranges from $30-80 per person depending on supply and demand. That means that as long as you spend the minimum during the day on food and drinks, your daybed costs nothing extra.

Most people are likely to spend more than the minimum – did we mention that pool drinks can be $20+ – so the daybed is a nice perk for those smart enough to book it.

2. Visit a Las Vegas Happy Hour

For some people, Las Vegas restaurants mean lots of money on expensive drinks and premium dining. However, tons of places have embraced the Las Vegas happy hour (especially during weekdays) and with a little planning, visiting happy hours is one of our favorite things to do in Las Vegas.

Feel free to have your own fun with this, but here’s what we recommend.

First off, check out our complete guide on Las Vegas happy hours – we have over 75 different deals listed!

Jot down one or two places in the hotel you are staying in and the 3 closest hotels nearby you. You may jot down places based on their cheap drinks, included appetizers, or uniqueness.

Start at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and visit a minimum of four different Las Vegas hotels and sample at least one happy hour from them.

Why are las Vegas happy hours fun and unique?

1. You’ll meet some awesome waiters/waitresses and new friends along your travels.
2. You’ll feel more accomplished than just sitting in one spot and drinking.
3. You’ll get to see and experience some really unique Las Vegas restaurants.
4. Finding each place is half of the fun, weaving through casinos and enjoying your time on the strip in each hotel

Here’s one example Las Vegas happy hour trip:

1. Emeril’s at MGM Grand – $5 beers
2. Tom’s Urban at New York York – 1/2 price on anything that pours. This includes $5 each for two “Big Ass Beer”, 80 OUNCES of beer total.
3. Beerhaus at the Park (by Park MGM) – $5 beer and $6 appetizers
4. Jaleo in Cosmopolitan – $4 beer and select $4-6 tapas
5. Harvest by Roy Ellimar in the Bellagio – $7 cocktail or wine plus $7 snacks from the snackwagon

3. Visit Topgolf Las Vegas

If you are even the most casual of golfers, you have to check out Topgolf in Las Vegas right on the backside of the MGM Grand property.

More than just a golf driving range, Topgolf makes things fun and interactive. You earn points for landing your golf ball nearby designated targets on the range. Each golf ball you hit has a tracker in it that shows you stats on the screen such as:

1. ball speed
2. total height
3. distance travelled
4. curve (slice or hook)

Each pod at Topgolf has a sectional couch for your party to relax on and enjoy a drink. The place even has a swimming pool and swim up bar on the third floor to check out!

Things are funner at Topgolf in groups of 4 or 6 and a bigger party makes the prices reasonable too – you pay per hour for the pod.

4. Piano Bar or Coyote Ugly in New York New York

If you want to go clubbing in Las Vegas and are planning on spending A LOT of money, you’ll have no trouble finding nightclubs in each hotel (Hakkasan in MGM Grand or XS in Wynn are two popular choices).

If clubs aren’t your thing anymore but you still want to have a good time, then consider the piano bar (“Bar at Times Square“) or Coyote Ugly which are both found in the New York New York hotel.

Both places are cheap to get into, have a casual atmosphere, and will provide plenty to sing and dance to.

Coyote Ugly has cheap drink specials from 6-9pm every night. The piano bar lets you get involved by requesting songs for the duelling pianos to play (tip recommended).

Once you are done, the Times Square area in New York New York has plenty of cheap food options open late (New York pizza!).

If you are feeling active, check out both of these places in a single night – they sit one floor and apart 200 steps apart.

5. Check out The Milk Bar

The Milk Bar is a famous and unique bakery unlike any other sweets you can you can get on the strip. It comes from Christina Tosi, who was the dessert chef for the Momofuku restaurant group who began own her business selling her “happy mistake” desserts full of ingredients that don’t normally go together.

One of the top favorites include the compost cookie – cookies packed with pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, and butterscotch.

Rather than regular old milk, The Milk Bar uses “cereal milk”. Imagine the taste of milk after cereal has marinated in it for 20 minutes and you can picture the awesomeness and uniqueness of Milk Bar.

6. Eat Cookie Dough at Doughp

Located in the Miracle Mile Shoppes by Planet Hollywood is Doughp – the original raw cookie dough restaurant. Featured on Shark Tank, Doughp is pre-packaged cookie dough in a variety of flavours from chocolate chip to birthday cake to cookies and cream.

Doughp is a unique twist on the dessert and Las Vegas and San Francisco are the only two locations you can get it at so far.

If you like what you taste, you can actually order Doughp online too, which is — dope.

7. Go Find Secret Pizza

There are plenty of pizza places on the Las Vegas Strip but if you want to feel like you’ve truly earned it, then go look for Secret Pizza.

Located on the third floor of the Cosmopolitan, Secret Pizza is not marked. Follow the vinyl record covers plastered on the hallways until you find this hidden gem where you can order pizza, play pinball, and enjoy yourself.

Secret Pizza has become a cult classic due to the adventure and mystery that surrounds it.

8. Get Berated at Dick’s Restaurant

Located in the Excalibur, Dick’s is a unique Las Vegas dining experience unlike anything other. Instead of a warm and comforting dining experience, the hosts and waiters at Dick’s are there to literally berate you.

You’ll be hurled insults, told to make your own place settings, judged for your food order, and mocked for the bill at the end.

In the over-the-top entertainment life of Las Vegas, Dick’s fits in oddly perfect with the strip. All of the staff do their job really well to make your experience awesome.

9. Go See a Las Vegas Residency Show

Las Vegas residency shows are different than long-term permanent Vegas offerings. Some of the current and former biggest artists in the world have ascended upon the Las Vegas strip with a special show event to check out.

The Aria Resort & Casino is one of the most premier locations on the strip. It also has the first permanent collection of fine art in Las Vegas. This art is integrated permanently around the Aria’s property and is available to go look at.

There are art pieces by Maya Lin, Jenny Holzer, Nancy Rubins, Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, Frank Stella, Henry Moore, James Turrell and Richard Long, among others.

11. Go and Visit The Park

The Park in Las Vegas is a tourist attraction located right outside the doors of the Park MGM hotel. It is also right outside T-Mobile Arena, home to the Vegas Golden Knights.

During hour happy, you can get $20 bottles of rosé and $5 wines.

Raglan Road Irish Pub

Raglan Road Irish Pub is an amazing bar that offers all of these. The restaurant is located in Disney Springs and is a perfect spot to check out after a long day of shopping and games.

Their happy hour is from 3-6 PM on weekends. On top of that, you will enjoy traditional Irish music and dance, plus, $2 off good liquors.

STK Orlando

This list won’t be complete without mentioning the STK Orlando lounge and bar.

STK is located just outside the gates of Disney Springs, making it a good spot to start off your happy hour Disney pub crawl.

Todd English’s Bluezoo Lounge

When it comes to lounges and bar near Disney World, Bluezoo Lounge offers one of the best happy hour deals. When we say best, we mean it!

Unlike the rest of our list, Bluezoo is located in the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, right outside the steps of the major parks.

Wicked Spoon in the Cosmopolitan

Chayo Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar in the LINQ

Chayo is a solid Mexican spot in the LINQ to check out. Every day of the week (weekends too) they have $21 bottomless mimosas for 2 hours until 4pm. The Yard House in the LINQ

As we mentioned above, Hecho en Vegas has a unique all you can eat and drink happy hour Las Vegas deal from Tuesday to Thursdays. The price isn’t that cheap ($18 per deal) but for quantity you get all the tacos and margaritas you can handle.

Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Bar in The Venetian

From 11am to 2pm, which is cheaper than a lot of the deals we found, you can get $5 or less for wells, wine, and Stella Artois beer. It’s getting harder and harder to find drinks for less than $5, which makes this a good Las Vegas happy hour options.

Border Grill in Mandalay Bay

One of the biggest draws of any ballpark is the food (and the baseball of course!) and it only seems that with each year, the weird food concoctions of the season get weirder and weirder! 2018 has to be the best year to date for wacky food combinations, but we have to tell you, despite being odd, some of them are surprisingly tasty!

Guide to the Weird Ballpark Foods of 2018

1. The Chick-Ago Sandwich

The Chicago Cubs have let things get just a little out of hand with their Chick-Ago Sandwich. A sandwich built around pickle-brined, breaded chicken thighs topped with dill aioli, tomatoes, and tempura sport peppers, this is an odd combination of ingredients stuffed into an onion roll and topped with celery salt. We’re not too sure we’d try this one, but if you already have, we’d love to know what you thought!

2. Distillery Poutine

The Toronto Blue Jays are showing their national pride with their Distillery Poutine creation this year. Although poutine is nothing new to Quebecois, this unique spin on the snack is something that might just appeal to those of you who have refused to try the Canadian dish so far. Made from tater tots with pulled pork and cheese curds, this odd combination is topped with whiskey-raisin gravy and is topped with green onions. It sounds surprisingly tasty and disgusting at the same time!

3. The Dilly Dog

The Texas Rangers might not be breaking any records this season, but they aren’t about to be left out of the unusual foods of 2018! The Dilly Dog is by far one of the most unusual 2018 ballpark food creations. A cored dill pickle that has been stuffed full with an Angus beef jumbo hot dog, battered and fried, this is a peculiar snack to say the least.

4. Spec-Tater

The Atlanta Braves are another team that is taking things to the extreme when it comes to weird stadium foods this year. The Spec-Tater is a monster potato that has been stuffed with jalapeno cheddar sausage that has been wrapped in bacon and then smoked. After slow smoking, the creation is then topped with cheese, sour cream, scallions, and…of course…more jalapenos!

5. The Asada Dog

The Arizona Diamondbacks aren’t going to be outdone and there’s no way that’s going to happen with their weirdest 2018 creation – the Asada dog. An 18-inch Schreiner’s hot dog inside a telera roll stuffed with fries and topped with queso blanco, carne asada, pico de gallo, and guacamole, this huge dog isn’t going to leave you any room for dessert so keep that in mind when you get to the front of the line at the concessions stand!

6. The Rocky Mountain Po’Boy

The Colorado Rockies are perhaps one of the weirdest on the list this year when you consider their Rocky Mountain Po’Boy. A po’boy roll stuffed with Rocky Mountain oysters (yes, that’s cow testicles), topped with guacamole, garlic slaw, green chili ranch, cotija cheese, and pico de gallo. It might be considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, but we’re going to give this one a really wide sidestep!

7. The Triple B

Just because everything is bigger in Texas, the Texas Rangers had to make the list with another of their unusual 2018 offerings – The Triple B. Huge slabs of bacon, brisket, and bologna are drenched in BBQ sauce and sandwiched on a soft bun. This one doesn’t sound all that unusual tastewise, but try opening your mouth wide enough to take a bite of this sandwich and you’ll see for yourself why it made the list.

8. The Queen City Fried Garlic Bologna:

The Cincinnati Reds are ready to join the ranks of weird ballpark foods in 2018 with their Queen City Fried Garlic Bologna offering! A thick slab of fried garlic seasoned bologna is topped with coleslaw and spicy mustard and sandwiched between two halves of an English muffin! It may not sound weird to bologna lovers, but we have to admit that we weren’t raised on the stuff and it just sounds a little…weird.

9. Jack’s Smoked Hush Dog

The Seattle Mariners are throwing their hat into the ring of weird and wonderful…or at least unique…foods being offered by ballparks this season with their Jack’s Smoked Hush Dog! Smoked jalapeno sausages are wrapped in Jack’s buttermilk hush puppy batter and fried to create this spicy sausage. Just don’t forget to take a few antacids with you if you plan on giving this one a try!

10. The Pulled Pork Pierogi Hoagie

The Pittsburgh Pirates weird food option this year might not be odd to those of you who love your carbs, but we happen to think it’s worth a mention! The pulled pork pierogi hoagie is a hoagie bun filled with potato and cheese pierogis and pulled pork and topped with crispy onions. This one actually sounds pretty tasty if you ask us!
