United Center Tips: Parking and Transportation

• A service called Parking Panda offers guaranteed parking reservations at garages and lots within easy walking distance of the United Center. Visit their website to pay for parking ahead of time. Compare prices and locations, pick a spot that works for you, and they’ll email you the parking pass.
   
• All official United Center parking lots are conveniently located near the arena and can be accessed from Damen Ave, Madision Street, Adams Street, Warren Blvd, Wood Street, Monroe Street and Washington, Street. Prices hover from $22-$29 and are subject to change without advance notice.
• The #19 United Center Express Bus runs on game days. Service begins 90 minutes prior to game time, runs every 10 minutes until 30 minutes prior to the start of game. Board at stops starting southbound on Michigan and Randolph. Connections are made with Metra trains at Millennium Station, Ogilvie Center and Union Station.

The stadium has 4 sitting levels. The level closest to the field is the Plaza level, followed by 100 level, 200 level, and 300 level. Just along the 200 level, you will see several suites and club areas.

To get the best price value, ensure you’re seated anywhere around 10-20 of the 100 level. You will be more comfortable here because the seats have great spacing and are a bit high. Without standing up, you will be able to see a wide-angle.

The new Las Vegas Stadium is located just west of Interstate #15 at the south end of the Vegas Strip. It is a few hundred feet away from Mandalay Bay, one of Vegas’ most famous hotels.

The entrance to the new Las Vegas Stadium is at the northeast part of the parcel. The road that runs east-west in between Mandalay Bay and the Luxor is West Hacienda Avenue. Fans will be able to access the stadium on gameday via this bridge, which will be converted to a 100% pedestrian walkway on game days.

Under construction right now, the new stadium is expected to be ready by the start of the Las Vegas Raiders (formally Oakland) 2020 season. NFL pre-season begins the first week of August, so it is expected that the stadium will be ready by this date as well.

June 20th – A news release has reported that $247 million dollars have been spent constructing the stadium thus far. The Raiders NFL team has spent $172 million (19% of its commitment) towards the stadium project so far, the NFL G-4 loan program has spent 44 million (22%), and the public has spent 31 million (4%) so far.

The entire budget as reported in Las Vegas Stadium news releases is 1.8 billion dollars.

September 18th, 2017 – Construction has begun on the new Las Vegas Stadium, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, Raiders owner Mark Davis, and tons of other former players, fans, and family in attendance for the event.

The NFL Raiders, formally from Oakland, are the primary tenants of the new stadium. The other major user of the facility is the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Las Vegas Raiders Personal Seat License Details

In order to have the opportunity to buy season tickets for the Las Vegas Raiders in the new stadium, you must put down a $100 refundable deposit towards of personal seat license (PSL). At a later date, you will have the chance to pick out a seat in the stadium, where you will then have to pay a seat license fee.

• Access to the exclusive Sideline Club for all Raiders games.
• Right to purchase tickets for other events held at the stadium.

• The stadium is 10 stories high with a black and silver facade on the outside.
• The roof is an ETFE clear plastic material.
• There are retractable curtain-like side windows in the stadium that face the Las Vegas Strip.

• At peak, there will be 1,500 contractors working on the stadium at a time.
• More than 20 cranes will be installed on-site.
• Over 1 million cubic yards of dirt (over 35,000 double truck loads) have been excavated for the stadium.

March 27th – The entire Los Angeles Stadium and Hollywood Park environment is now expected to cost just short of 5 billion dollars. The debt limit was requested to the NFL owners and approved. The stadium itself has a price tag of 2.6 billion dollars.

November 17th, 2016 – Groundbreaking at the new stadium site has occurred and construction is set to begin.

Los Angeles Rams & Chargers Stadium Information

The Rams and Chargers are the primary tenants of the new stadium. The stadium has also been selected as host for a few prominent events in the future: the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games.

Los Angeles Rams & Chargers Personal Seat License Details

In order to have the opportunity to buy season tickets for one of the teams in the new stadium, you must put down a $100 refundable deposit towards of personal seat license (PSL). At a later date, you will have the chance to pick out a seat in the stadium, where you will then have to pay a seat license fee.

Similar to PSLs at other new stadium, a license will give you the following access and perks:

• The exclusive right to purchase tickets in your seat for games and events.
• Access to exclusive parts to the arena for food, drink, and memorabilia.
• The ability to resell your license to a third party.
• Parking and stadium access perks.

Other Los Angeles Stadium Details

The new stadium at Hollywood Park is going to be the most expensive stadium ever built, with a debt ceiling limit coming in at over 4.9 billion dollars for the arena and surrounding community. The arena alone is estimated to cost 2.6 billion dollars. Here are some of the most interesting details and features of the new facility:

• The stadium holds 70,000 fans for NFL game day, with the ability to expand seating to 100,000 for major events.
• The stadium has a largely open concept so that fans can see the field from almost anywhere they are standing.
• The roof is a 19-acre transparent ETFE canopy, similar to the one being installed at the new Las Vegas Stadium.
• A 60,000 foot Oculus viewing board will circle around the entire stadium.
• Much of the technology will be digitized in order to “flip a switch” between the Chargers and Rams game days.

5 BEST US CONCERT VENUES 2018

1. MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

One of the most highly rated stadiums, Madison Square Garden was opened on February 11, 1968, and has a capacity of 20,789! Home to the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers, it’s also a great location for concerts, In the coming months, MSG will host a number of big names in music including Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Journey and Def Leppard, Hall and Oates with Train, Imagine Dragons, Harry Styles, U2, Sam Smith, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Beck, Panic at the Disco, Smashing Pumpkins, Rod Stewart, Shakira, Paul Simon, and Eric Clapton.

If you’re looking to catch one big concert this year, Madison Square Garden would be a great place to do it because it’s not only an awesome stadium to visit, but they have some of the biggest names in music coming this year! Looking for somewhere to stay while you’re visiting Madison Square Garden? The Hilton Times Square is a favorite of ours!

2. FENWAY PARK

Another of the greats when it comes to stadiums that are fabulous locations for concerts is Fenway Park! Opened on April 20, 1912, Fenway Park has a capacity of 37,731! Home of the Boston Red Sox, it’s another amazing location to check out some of the biggest names in rock. In the coming months, Fenway Park will play host to the Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Buffet, Billy Joel, Journey & Def Leppard, and Pearl Jam!

If you have a few days to spare in the coming months we advise not only dropping by for one of the concerts above but sticking around for a little baseball too! Not sure where to stay when you’re visiting Fenway Park? The Verb Hotel is a great choice, but so too is the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Back Bay/Fe, the Westin Copley Place Boston, the Hotel Commonwealth, and The Liberty.

 3. WRIGLEY FIELD

Another popular baseball field for concerts is Wrigley Field! Opened on April 23, 1914, this is one of the oldest concert venues on the list, but still, one that you don’t want to miss out on visiting! Wrigley Field has a capacity of 41,649 and is home to the Chicago Cubs! Many people aren’t aware that Wrigley Field is also a popular stadium for music events and in the coming months, you can expect some big names to drop by! Included in the music lineup for Wrigley Field in the next few months are Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefer Band, Def Leppard and Journey, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Luke Bryan, Billy Joel, and Fall Out Boy.

From July through to September, you will have plenty of big-name concerts to choose from if you head over to Wrigley Field, but we definitely recommend checking out Jimmy Buffet and Pearl Jam! Not sure where to stay when you’re visiting the iconic Wrigley Field? We recommend Hotel Zachary at Gallagher Way, The Drake, or one of the many Air B&B type rental options – there are more than you can count, just be sure to read reviews first!

 4. BARCLAYS CENTER

Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York opened its doors on September 21, 2012, and is part of the Pacific Park business and residential complex in the area. Overall, the Pacific Park project will cost a total of $4.9 to build! Barclay’s Center has a capacity of 19,000 and is home to the New York Islanders, The Brooklyn Nets, and the LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds. In the coming months, visitors to Barclay’s Center will have the opportunity to see concerts held by Depeche Mode, Paramore and Foster the People, Sam Smith, Shania Twain, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Barclays Center may be a newer stadium on the block, but this year they are hosting some of the biggest names in music.  If you’ve never checked out Barclays Center for yourself, then it’s the perfect time of year to do it!  5. BRIDGESTONE ARENA

The Bridgestone Arena was built in Nashville, Tennessee back and they opened their doors on December 18, 1996. Home to the Nashville Predators, the Bridgestone Arena has a capacity of 20,000. Over the next few months, visitors to the Bridgestone Arena will have the chance to catch the following faces in music! The Foo Fighters, Five Finger Death Punch, Justin Timberlake, U2, Harry Styles, Paul Simon, Justin Timberlake, U2, Sam Smith, Imagine Dragons, Kesha and Macklemore, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rod Stewart, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Def Leppard and Journey, Fallout Boy, Chris Young, Maroon 5, and Bruno Mars!
