San Francisco Giants Overview
The San Francisco Giants are a professional Major League Baseball (MLB) team based in San Francisco, California. They compete as a member of the National League West Division. The team was founded in 1883 in New York City, making them one of the oldest teams in professional baseball. They relocated to San Francisco in 1958.
Throughout their history, the Giants have won 8 World Series Titles. They have also won 23 National League Pennants and at least 9 National League West Division titles. These accomplishments make them one of the most successful franchises to play the game of baseball.
The Giants currently have 63 players in the Baseball Hall of Fame, the most out of any Major League Baseball team. These players include Christy Matthewson, Mel Ott, Orlando Cepeda, Juan Marichal, and Willie Mays.
The team had quite a prolonged drought in between World Series wins. They won the World Series in 1954 and then not again until 2010. But the Giants turned into a powerhouse at the right time, winning the World Series in 2010, 2012, and 2014, making them the second team in National League history to win three championships in five years.
The Giants are in a loaded National League West division which has shown to be challenging over the last few years. They hope to return to that tremendous success the team saw in the 2010s.

Oracle Park Overview
Oracle Park is a baseball stadium located in San Francisco, California. It is currently the home of the San Francisco Giants Major League Baseball (MLB) team. The stadium opened in 2000 and underwent three name changes before Oracle Corporation purchased the naming rights in 2019.
Oracle Park stands along San Francisco Bay. On the other side of the right field wall is “McCovey Cove,” named in honor of Giants legend Willie McCovey. Anytime a home run is hit over the right field wall, it goes into the bay, and there are usually many spectators ready in kayaks or canoes to grab the floating baseball.
The capacity for baseball games at Oracle Park is 41,915. Oracle Park has also been the site of many other sporting events outside of baseball. It used to be the home of XFL and United Football League teams and has also hosted soccer matches, rugby games, Monster Jam, and more.
Oracle Park is one of the more iconic baseball stadiums to attend. A massive Coke bottle and an old-fashioned glove statue are in the left-field bleachers. Playground slides also light up every time the Giants hit a home run.
How to Buy Cheap San Francisco Giants Tickets
Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster is the largest official ticket outlet in Canada and the United States for sports tickets. Teams in every league have partnered with Ticketmaster to safely and securely sell tickets to their games.
One nice thing about Ticketmaster is that they also have a large inventory of third-party verified tickets available from season ticket holders. Season ticket holders can post their tickets directly to Ticketmaster for a small fee, who turn around and sell them to fans.
The only downside to Giants Ticketmaster tickets is that the fees attached are high compared to StubHub or Gametime below. It’s a good idea to compare similar seats on each site to ensure you get the best deal on Giants tickets.
StubHub
StubHub is our favorite third-party ticket marketplace. You can find many cheap tickets to a Giants game on StubHub. Most sports leagues have a third-party partnership with StubHub to sell and advertise game tickets. StubHub has the largest selection of event resale tickets, often pushing the cost below face value.
StubHub will show you if the ticket listed is a reasonable price compared to the average price and the location of the seat. Plus, their “FanProtect” policy means that your tickets are 100% guaranteed to be legit.
StubHub also has a rewards program to join and earn credits when you purchase tickets. Once you earn enough credits, you can apply these to your purchase and get tickets for even cheaper.
I highly recommend checking out Giants StubHub tickets for a good deal.
GameTime
One of the best tips for buying cheap Giants tickets is through Gametime. Gametime is known for last-minute ticket deals for every single professional sport. These tickets are 100% guaranteed through Gametime and are often the cheapest tickets you will find.
Gametime works with teams and venues to get blocks of unsold tickets, which they advertise as last-minute deals. With 162 games in an MLB season, there are plenty of chances for Gametime to get discount tickets. Gametime offers cheap prices and low fees by selling tickets that would otherwise go unsold.
If you wait until a few hours before the game starts, very cheap tickets will be available. They are delivered to your smartphone almost instantly and offer event cancellation protection.
Gametime is a top pick for finding the cheapest San Francisco Giants tickets.
How Much are San Francisco Giants Tickets?

Following the tips below, you can get cheap Giants tickets for $10 or less per ticket. On a weekday game against a non-divisional opponent, tickets can be found for only a few bucks.

Tips for Buying San Francisco Giants Tickets
Want more tips for buying cheap Giants tickets? Check out these other ideas to consider.
Compare Prices
When buying baseball tickets, make sure to compare prices from Ticketmaster, StubHub, and Gametime side-by-side. Prices can vary widely, so it’s important to do your research before making a purchase. You may be able to find the same seats at a much lower price on a different website.
Look For Promotions
The Giants often run promotions that offer discounted tickets for specific games or events. Keep an eye out for these promotions and take advantage of them when you can.
Some games will have special offers for a free t-shirt, bobblehead, or another accessory. These are special collector’s items that you get free for attending the game. Or, if you don’t care about these things, look for an alternative game with no offer because these are usually cheaper.
Buy Tickets for Mid-Week Games
Weekend games are often the most popular and most expensive. If you’re looking for cheap tickets, consider attending a mid-week game instead. These games tend to have lower attendance, so you can often find good seat deals.
Buy Tickets for Less Popular Teams
Certain games, like weekday afternoon games or games against less popular opponents, tend to have lower demand and lower prices. If you’re willing to attend one of these games, you can save a lot of money on tickets.
Consider Standing Room Only Tickets
If you don’t mind standing throughout the game, consider buying standing room only tickets. These tickets are often much cheaper than seated tickets and can still offer a great view of the action.
Following these tips, you can score cheap San Francisco Giants tickets and enjoy watching your favorite team play without breaking the bank. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends, attending a Giants game is a great experience that shouldn’t cost a fortune.
Buy Tickets on the Day of the Game
Waiting until game day and purchasing tickets on Gametime will be the best way to get the cheapest tickets to a hockey game. When it gets closer to the game, sellers are more desperate to get any money for their tickets, which means they will list them lower than they usually would.
Take advantage of these sellers!
The biggest drawback is that you might not be able to wait. If you are travelling from out of town, you want to secure your tickets early. And if the game is sold out, there will be nothing on Gametime to purchase!
