Most of these presale passwords are NOT unique to each event. If you know the format for these presale codes ahead of time, you can quickly grab tickets early. General public tickets generally go on sale each Friday, however presale tickets go on sale up to a week earlier depending on the show.

How to Find Presale Codes For Each Concert

After you follow this guide, how do you find concerts to use these presale codes and buy tickets for?

If you check out our home page, you’ll see that we post tour guides for all major artists. In each tour guide, you will find key tour information for all live events:

In the presale codes section of each tour guide, we list all of the different options available for each tour. They will include the codes you see below, along with unique presale passwords that are unique for each artist.

For the rest of this guide, I will focus on how to find the standard presale password code for American Express, Live Nation, and other common providers.

American Express Presale Code

If you have an AMEX card, you can take advantage and get early presale access. The American Express presale code is the ten digit support phone number written on the back of the card. For most users, that will be:

• 8003272177, 8002973333, or 8778770987 (the support number on the back of your card)

Check your American Express card out and be prepared to enter this number in on Ticketmaster to gain access to these tickets.

NOTE: You NEED an American Express card to pay for these tickets so you cannot try the code above if you don’t have an AMEX to follow through with your transaction.

Citi Cardmember Presale Code

If you are a Citi cardmember, you can also get early tickets to some events. The presale code is the first six digits of your card. The most common number for US residents is 412800.

Look at the front of your Citi card and enter the first six digits into Ticketmaster to gain access to these tickets.

NOTE: You NEED a Citi card to follow through with the transaction. You will not be able to check out and lock in your tickets without one.

Chase Cardmember Presale Code

If you are a Chase bank cardholder, you may also be able to get early tickets to some events. The presale code is the first six digits of your card. The most common numbers for US residents are:

• 8009359935 or 8004933319 (the support phone number on the back of your card)
• 541712 or the first six digits on the front of your card

Look at the front of your Chase card and enter the first six digits into Ticketmaster to gain access to these tickets.

NOTE: You NEED a Chase card to follow through with the transaction. You will not be able to check out and lock in your tickets without one.

Live Nation Presale Code

If you are wondering how to get the Live Nation presale code, it’s easy! Nearly all shows will have Live Nation presales attached to it. Live Nation runs their presale promotions three different ways and often a combination of all:

• General presale code for their website
• Specific presale code for their website
• General presale code for their mobile app

General Live Nation presale codes tend to change monthly. We always post the code in each individual tour guide when we update them, so check out our home page for the latest tours announced.

To access these codes, you must look up your show and venue on the Live Nation website. You will either be automatically prompted or will have to begin the ticket process and then you’ll be prompted to enter in your code. You do not have to own any specific credit card to use this trick.

To get the Live Nation mobile app presale code, download Live Nation from the app store. When you click on a tour date, your LN Mobile code will be active for it.

How to Get a Ticketmaster Presale Code

Ticketmaster often has presale codes for concerts as well. Unlike the codes listed above, Ticketmaster’s code is unique to each individual show.

In our tour guides, we will post specific Ticketmaster presale codes when they are available.

You can still enter in the Live Nation, credit card, or other codes shown above from the Ticketmaster website though. Those codes should be universal to both Ticketmaster and to Live Nation.

Verified Fan

The Ticketmaster Verified Fan promotion is a special way for fans to get tickets to select concerts. With Verified Fan, you sign up early for access to concert tickets. If you are successfully chosen, then you get first dibs on tickets.

Verified Fan is designed to put concert tickets into the hands of real fans.

Verified Fsn presale codes are private for each fan and can not be shared. The only way to get this code is to sign up for the promotion yourself. To make sure that more fans get access, Verified Fan promotions often have a ticket limit of 4 per person.

Platinum Tickets

Ticketmaster Platinum tickets are sometimes confusing. You do not need a special code to access these tickets. Official platinum presale tickets go on sale early and the supply and demand of the show determines their price.

Radio Presale Codes

Local radio stations also offer codes to most major contests. These codes are often unique to each radio station, so it is hard to generalize what they might be.

A lot of times, the code is simply the four digit radio code for the station (eg. KJIX). The best way to get radio presale codes for presale events is to follow the radio station on Twitter and Facebook where they usually post codes the day they go on sale.

Venue Presale Codes

Individual venues sometimes get early access to tickets as well. To get access to these codes, simply check out the tour guides that we offer on our site. We work hard to post as many as we can for each artist.

If you subscribe to the venue’s mailing list with your email address, they will email you directly with code access. You should also subscribe to any loyalty memberships for the venue. For example, T-Mobile Arena often sends presale codes out to any M Life cardholders. So you can check out a good concert and get discounts towards MGM Grand happy hours and hotel stays.

Spotify Presale Codes

Spotify sometimes has exclusive tickets set aside for artists going on concert tours. Spotify’s presale is usually on the Wednesday before general tickets go on sale Friday.

The Spotify presale code is sent out to users who frequently listen to the artist. These users are picked from Spotify’s computer algorithm. The feedback from our followers is that not many people get access to these tickets directly.

Luckily, the Spotify presale code often leaks out to the general public. When it does, we post it in each artists’ tour guide for everyone to try and use.

Live Nation VIP Presale Codes

Live Nation and Ticketmaster often have VIP tickets available for early purchase. These often cause confusion because fans are looking for Live Nation presale codes for them.

VIP Packages do NOT require a code to access. These are special blocks of tickets that have a price premium on them.

VIP Packages are more expensive than regular tickets and this extra price is your early access.

Do not pay for a Live Nation promo code for VIP packages, they do not require one.

Should You Pay for a Presale Code to an Event?

No, you should never pay for a presale code.

Other websites on the internet force followers to pay for presale passwords. These websites are giving out the same codes that we post for free on Stadium Help. They do not have access to any special codes or tickets.

Stay away from these websites and never pay for a presale code!

With your account set up, it’s time to optimize it for maximum alert effectiveness. There are two main ways to get notifications in your inbox about upcoming events and concert presale codes: artist-specific codes and category-specific codes.

Artist Specific Codes

Artist-specific codes give you notifications whenever a specific artist updates their upcoming tour schedule with new events. This is the best way to make sure you know about updates from your favorite artists.

To add specific artists, teams, or venues to your Favorites:

1. Search for any artist and pull up their profile page.
2. Click on the heart icon in the artist’s banner
3. Repeat this process for all the acts and venues you want to track.

That’s it! You will receive emails about any updates.

By adding your favorite artists and venues, you can easily monitor available tickets and receive alerts for any changes in ticket availability.

Category Specific Alerts

Ticketmaster has a free feature where you can also subscribe to specific genres, sports, and categories on Ticketmaster and receive generic emails about events in your area. This is a more passive way to receive emails without needing to go and ‘like’ hundreds of different artists and teams.

To setup category alerts:

1. Click on “My Account” in the top right corner of the Ticketmaster website.
2. Select “My Settings” and then “Manage Preferences”.

Broadway Overview

Broadway is located in Midtown Manhattan, New York. It is comprised of theatrical performances that are presented in 41 different professional theatres. While there are a few exceptions, Broadway theatres are usually reserved for venues with a seating capacity of at least 500 people.

Broadway is an area in the Theatre District of Manhattan, New York that stretches from roughly W 42^nd Street up to W 54^th Street. In this area, there are over 40 different theaters which have nightly shows and performances.

How Much Are Broadway Tickets?

Broadway tickets can vary in price by quite a bit, much like sporting events and concerts. Regular price tickets to a Broadway show can be anywhere from $20 to $175 per ticket. You can expect to pay higher prices for better seats, as well as shows that fall on the weekend. If you are willing to compromise where you sit and the date of the show, you can save some money that way.

Some Broadway shows do offer Premium seat tickets which will reflect in the price. These seats however will give you the best view of the show. Depending on which show you are seeing, these may be worth it to you. These Premium tickets are usually over $175 per ticket.

When purchasing tickets for a Broadway show, there are generally 3 areas of seating to choose from. The Orchestra section will be the most expensive because it is the closest seats to the stage. Orchestra tickets will generally start at $96 per ticket and up. The middle section is the Mezzanine section and will start around $75 per ticket and up. The third section is the Balcony, which is also the furthest from the stage. These tickets will start around $57 per ticket.

When Do Broadway Tickets Go on Sale?

Broadway tickets usually go on sale shortly after production of the show is announced. Shows on Broadway can last anywhere from a couple of months to multiple years, depending on a few different factors.

If you have a certain show in mind that you would like to attend on Broadway, it is a great idea to book your tickets as soon as possible. If it is a popular show, you may even want to look at booking over 6 months in advance because they will sell out quickly. 

As it gets closer to the show date, tickets will be sold out and you will be forced to purchase re-sale tickets.

Strategies for Getting Good Broadway Tickets

The great thing about Broadway is that there are 41 theatres and multiple different days of the week when the shows are played. Hopefully,  you shouldn’t have to worry about not getting tickets. Once a Broadway show is announced and you have decided you want tickets, it is a great idea to have strategies in place to ensure you get the tickets you want.

Buy Your Tickets in Advance

If it is a very popular Broadway show, it is a great idea to book your tickets as far in advance as you can. These shows will sell out quickly and you don’t want to be forced to purchase re-sale tickets which will be more expensive. 

Also, if you are planning a trip to New York and are limited in dates that you can attend the show, it is a good idea to have them booked in advance. 

Check out the Box Office

If you live in New York, it is easy enough to walk up to a box office the week of a show and grab tickets. This is especially true if you aren’t too worried about where you sit in the theatre.

Watch Third Party Ticket Sellers

Keep an eye out for third-party ticket sellers such as StubHub and Vivid Seats. Sites like StubHub will actually tell you if a ticket listed is a good price for the seat. 

Ticket prices on third-party websites fluctuate on depending on supply and demand. This is a great way to get cheap Broadway tickets.

Check out TKTS

There is a half-price ticket place located in Times Square that is called TKTS. If you go there the day of a show, you can usually get half-price tickets for the same night. 

The only downfall of this is that you have to stand there in line and the lineups can be quite long depending on what Broadway show it is for. But if you have the time to do this, we would recommend as it will save you quite a bit of money on ticket prices.

How to Buy Cheap Broadway Tickets

Below are a few different ways to get cheap Broadway tickets in New York.

Ticketmaster

This may not be the cheapest way to get tickets, but you can ensure you get real, official tickets to the Broadway show of your choosing. The fees on Ticketmaster aren’t huge and they will show you the fees as you click on each seat in the theatre for tickets.

 Ticketmaster does a great job of showing you the Theatre view for tickets and you can also easily re-sell tickets if you cannot make the show.

StubHub

StubHub is a great third-party ticket seller that has a massive selection for Broadway shows. They allow you to easily filter tickets depending on where you want to sit and how much you want to pay. 

One thing we love about StubHub is that it will actually give you a rating on each ticket listed if it is a good deal based on the price it is posted for. This ensures that you as a buyer are getting the best deal possible.

Vivid Seats is another great third-party ticket seller that has risen in popularity over the last few years. Vivis has a big selection of tickets for Broadway shows. I was able to find multiple Broadway tickets that were cheaper than through official websites.

TKTS Ticket Booth

As mentioned above, there are ticket booths located around New York that offer deeply-discounted ticket prices for Broadway shows. The catch is you have to go to these ticket booths the day of the show and stand in line. Depending on the show, these lineups can be quite long.

MLB Baseball Overview

MLB is an acronym for Major League Baseball. Headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, MLB is a professional baseball organization that was formed in 1903 after the merger of the two US baseball leagues: the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). The merger was led by the Commissioner of Baseball.

Right now, the MLB consists of 30 teams, with 1 in Canada and the remaining 29 in the United States. The American League (AL) and the National League (NL) were formed in 1901 and 1876 respectively. Major League Baseball runs from late March or early April to late September or early October. The postseason often runs into November each year.

How Much Are Baseball Tickets? 

Baseball ticket prices vary based on a number of factors, including team, opponent, date and time of the game, and seat location. Many franchises sell baseball tickets for as low as $10, whereas others sell their lowest tickets for $50. Tickets can also cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the upper end, depending on the game and seat location.

First, I went to a Tyler the Creator concert and picked 4 tickets in Row A33 on the floor which were a listed ticket price of $87 each ($348 total). This price has no hidden fees or processing fees and is listed as all inclusive.

When you buy the tickets and see the checkout page, the total price actually comes to $326.08, which is only $81.52 per tickets. The breakdown shows an actual ticket cost of $60, a service total of $19.08 (32%) and a $2.50 electronic transfer fee per ticket.

Fees Test #2

Next, we went for some real expensive tickets listed for an upcoming BTS show in Las Vegas. We picked 2 tickets located in section 311 with a purchase price of $329 per ticket.

This time when we checked out, we could see that the base ticket price was $329 as shown, plus a service total of $105.37 (32%) per ticket and the $2.50 electronic transfer fee.

Although a service fee on Vivid Seats may initially look high, they are about standard with all of the other companies such as Ticketmaster and StubHub. When we reviewed Ticketmaster’s pricing in detail, we also saw service fees over 20%.

As listed on the Vivid Seats website, the service fee covers the company’s cost to facilitate all of the transactions. A portion of it also goes towards maintaining their customer satisfaction and buyers guarantee.

When buying third party tickets you want to make sure that all transactions are safe and secure, so these fees are included to ensure the validity of the tickets that you buy.

Ticketmaster Health Checks are safety measures developed by event organizers and published on their event pages on Ticketmaster. The aim of these health checks is to reduce the possibility of exposing event attendees to COVID-19. 

While Ticketmaster is the largest event ticket seller in the world, it does not control or set health checks protocol. 

Each event or concert listed on Ticketmaster has different health checks. However, some common measures include:

• A rapid onsite COVID-19 test
• Proof of a negative COVID-19 test results before entering a venue
• Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19
• Participating in a brief health questionnaire
• Always check the event organizer’s website to be sure of your favorite event’s health checks. 

Who decides there will be Health Checks at a concert?

The responsibility of setting up health checks rest on the shoulders of the event organizers. Ticketmaster is merely a ticket seller and does not control health checks protocols. 

After monitoring COVID-19 trends in their locality, event organizers will determine whether health checks will be required. These protocols are available on individual event pages on Ticketmaster. 

How do I know if my event has Health Checks?

There are two ways to know whether your favorite event has health checks or not. The first way is to look up the event page of the artist on Ticketmaster. 

For example, let’s say the event you plan to attend is Dead & Company or Maroon 5. You can type in the event in Ticketmaster’s search bar. Once the event pops up, you will see the Health Checks logo beside the “See Tickets” option. 

Click on the “Buy Tickets” button to see the actual restrictions in the top right corner under “Important Event Info.”

Secondly, if your event has health checks, Ticketmaster will email you the information. The email will let you know if the entry requirements of the events have changed. Therefore, ensure you always check the event organizer’s site for entry requirements, as health checks are subject to change. 

Examples of some Ticketmaster Health Checks

For the upcoming “Dead Company’s” tour, the band has listed the following health checks: 

IMPORTANT: For all dates on Dead & Company’s 2021 Tour, proof of COVID-19 Vaccination will be required by the event organizer to gain entry to the GA Pit. Please keep this in mind before purchasing GA Pit tickets. If a GA Pit ticket holder does not have documentation, they will be provided an alternate viewing location. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Another Ticketmaster Health Checks event is the “Foo Fighters” event at the Calson Center on August 21 in Fairbanks, AK. The American Rock Band has listed the following health checks: 

In attending the event you certify and attest that you and all individuals in your party attending the event will follow the below regulations: All fans must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination; i.e. original vaccination card or a copy of vaccination card. Or, have received a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before entry to the facility and provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue.Unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before entry to the facility and will provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue. Unvaccinated fans over 12 years old with a valid medical restriction & medical reason will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before entry to the facility, and will provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue.

Lastly, for the upcoming Maroon 5 tour, they have posted the following: 

All attendees of this event to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR have received a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours prior to entering the venue.In attending the event, you certify and attest that you and all individuals in your party attending the event will abide by the following regulations: All fans must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination – either the original vaccination card or a printed copy of the vaccination card. Unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before the event and will provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue. These regulations will apply to all members of your party before they are allowed to entry to the event and to any users of the tickets purchased by you.

Negative COVID-19 Test Requirements 

If you’re unvaccinated, some event organizers have made it mandatory that attendees must present a negative COVID-19 test result. The result must be conducted 48 to 72 hours before the event date. 

At the entry point of the venue, most organizers have their personnel that will check negative COVID-19 test results or vaccination cards. 

Prior to entering the venue, some organizers will ask unvaccinated under 12-year fans to provide a copy of their negative COVID-19 test.
